Abram R. Katz: K-12 Teaching Consulting & Partnerships

Some of Abram Katz's most noteworthy social, civic and community engagement projects can be viewed on the Heartisan Foundation website, which highlights a diverse set of youth empowerment projects and K-12 school-community programs in partnership with higher education institutions, local initiatives and grassroots organizations. Katz has be featured on NPR, .... for his school-community programs and teaching internships in partnership with Southern Oregon University and the Oregon Writing Project. Katz is a member of the Art Council Santa Cruz County Arts Education Committee and consults non-profit organizations such as Chapter 510 and Ever Forward in Oakland, CA. on broad-scale youth empowerment programs. Katz is a former member of the MLK Celebration Planning Committee and volunteers however he can to bring resources and dignity to underserved communities worldwide.
