High School reflections 2019

This short documentary film highlights the positive impacts of the 'Reflection Project,' a 5-day creative expression experience that engages high school students through reflective writing, portrait-drawing, mask-making, interactive dialogue, trust-building exercises, and performance. This workshop-style class addresses isolation and depression in teens, using writing and art as prevention.

"Here Rest Butterflies" is an artful examination of our collective pasts, and how our distinct memories inform our current life experiences UNTIL... we let go. The flowing video is concept reel which captures the emotional tone and pacing of the film-to-be-created.
